I am very interested in others opinions, as I have not played with the new book yet. I think that this list should do well, but if there is anything that I can do to improve it, then I would like to figure that out. Thanks.

I think I would be tempted to get rid of the unit of 20 zombies and distribute them back into the other blocks, but if you can spam enough IoN then they'll get super pumped and you'd be short a block.

Any idea on what kind of armies you'll be playing against?

With this list I have eighteen points left over.

Alternatively, I could split the two varghiest units into three units of four, with varghoyls in each. Or, I could switch out the two units of skeletons and zombies, for five units of zombies with full command. Let me know what you guys think about the possible changes.

I really like that 2nd list!

Make sure to line up the Vargheists 3x2 so they don't take up too much frontage. Yeah you'll loose the stomp attack and the extra frenzy attack (support attacks are MAX 3), but you should have no problems dealing enough wounds.

Other tactics should include the Terrorgheist helping out a unit of Vargheists.

That looks scary as hell..... not my style but scary as hell i would not want to fight that list haha.

Varghiests are kinda glass cannons, they hit pretty hard but they have no staying power at all, T4 No Armour makes them a sad panda in a straight up fight. That's why I would be tempted to go for only 1 unit of them and the other unit could be Crypt Horrors, they're cheaper, still move 6 albeit without flight but at Toughness 5 with Regen (5+) they stick around dishing out their poisoned attacks a lot longer, you also don't have to baby sit them to ensure they don't frenzy out.

I like the 2nd list, but I'd be very worried about Dwarfs and Empire a Mortar/Stone Thrower will have a field day and Handgunners/Thunderers will take care of the ONLY War Machine hunters the Varghiests, for tournament play I'd try to fit in some Bats or Wolves.
