Hey all,

I'm currently selling some old White Dwarfs on eBay. Not so odd yet. One guy has expressed interest in one of them and would like it posting to Belgium. Still not odd I hear you all shout.

However (let the oddness begin), in order to calculate postage I need to weigh a WD and I currently have no set of working scales in my house. Therefore, can someone do me the massive favour of weighing one of their WD and getting back to me?

Chuckle...
This months WD is 325g (or at least that's what my scales says), where as 284 is closer to 400g.
So this clearly shows how you used to get more for your money...

Hope this helps you mate, I'm planning to sell a few of my own in the not too distant future.

EDIT: I believe the royal mail do it in stepped categories so 0.5kg or under should do you for most of 'em.
Might no do 300 though, I haven't massed (notice my scientific correctness) that one, but it sure feels heavier!

Yeah, they used to have nice thick paper, instead of repurposed bible paper (although the newer ones fit more with GW's messianic bent...).

Cheers Monkey, that's been really helpful. If you're gonna start selling them, standard UK postage is £1.46, and to Europe I've calculated it at around £3.50.

The older ones don't seem to sell as well as the more recent ones though. It's funny really considering they are much more hobby orientated, rather than a printout from the website with some developers comments.

That's funny I'm always trying to grab the old ones that had articles I liked in them I don't think I've bought a new one since maybe around issue 332 to 340 possibly which is a drastic change from when I used to buy it almost every month I had the chance to.

Well let me know if there is any you're after. I've got WDs that go back as far as 1998. I'm having a clearout this Christmas too...
