Another completed Terrorgheist...

Hello fellow painters,

Phew! Finally finished painting my Terrorheist and thought I'd share a few pics...

The color scheme isn't very adventurous; I originally wanted a more purple skin tone to match the theme of the army but it just didn't look right so I increased the blue-ness with a few washes.

Anyway here he (or she!?) is:

Now I've just got some Blood Knights to paint before by backlog is cleared (until Saturday that isVampire3)

Sorastro.

RE: Another completed Terrorgheist...

Thanks Duke.

The bone on the Terrorgheist was done with a basecoat of Tierra Earth (or Graveyard Earth)/Skull White mix (roughly 50/50). I then added a couple of washes of a black/brown mix (Devlan Mud with Badab Black). I then added the basecoat again, and highlighted up by adding a little white to the basecoat mix but didn't go too crazy with the highlights.

To darken the upper ends of the wing bones I just applied lots of very thin washes of the black/brown mixed wash.

Sorastro have you got a painting log? I'm really enjoying your style, I'd love to read it.

Looks great, really well painted. Has the same colour scheme as every other terrorgheist, but well painted smile

Lookin' Nice!
I much prefer the pose of the terrorgheist to the zombie dragon.
When I eventually get a dragon I think I'll have to pose him as a gheist.

I don't have a log unfortunately, mostly due to time/energy factors, so I tend to just share pictures of my finished pieces. I'm more than happy to share painting techniques/recipes etc although I certainly don't rate myself as any kind of expert!

Oops - I've just noticed that the Terrorgheist has it's own "Show us your..." thread. Would it be possible for a mod to move this thread into the "Show Us Your Terrorgheist thread please?

I love it. The little details on the base really help make the model stand out to me. Also the bones are painted beautifully.

I would love to see more of your work. b^_^d
