Hi everyone. This will be my plog for the Tale of X Gamers. I will update this post to show what is/isn't done, and what needs to be done etc.

I pledge to build and paint:

Vampire Lord - Not yet bought.
Wight King Battle Standard Bearer
40 Ghouls (10 of which are zombie-fillers, but using them as ghouls)
30 Grave Guard - 14 Assembled and another 5 partially assembled
20 Skeletons
Daemon Prince

The above will be added to my existing army of a Vampire Thrall and 15 Skeletons. (Who may accidentally sneak into some photos.)

I will try and get some piccys, but I thought it would be better to show a decent amount. (ie: not a hero and a monster full stop).

I am having problems with a Vampire Lord. I've tried converting using the Empire General and Wizard kits, the Grave Guard kit, Chaos Knight kit, corpse cart kit, but each of my conversions have come out... crap. They end up as closed models with nothing interesting to them. I'm thinking of not bothering converting and getting myself a Vlad model.

Any ideas?

Vlad shmad! Conversions are the way forward. Lets see some of them and maybe people can help or tell you if your being to harsh.

Yes show us some and we can see what we can suggest for ya. There is a large draw of modeler's that are very good here.

Ok then, here's the daemon, banner bearer, and the model I am displeased with.

Umm....yeah. How exactly do I get an image from my computer onto CN?

EDIT: Ah ha! Perhaps this will work... no. It says the attachment cannot be found on the server. Why?!

You can create an account on photobucket, upload your pictures there and then copy the address to the picture and paste it between image tags which look like this [img][/img]

Well, you might not want to fix them. I looked at the pictures themselves, and god they're awful. I thought my phone camera would do all-right, but it's complete bull.

I don't have access to a proper camera, and unless there's one dead cheap somewhere, I can't get one. So then it'd be either two pixels per image or failed pledge... *cry* it's not even my fault! *cry*

Maybe you could ask from a friend of yours to borrow his camera for an hour and you could upload some pics

I would, but my friend would ask why, and if I kept borrowing... plus warhammer is not exactly regarded as "cool" in my school. Let alone blogging on a forum. Put them together... I don't think the friends would stay quite as close to me as beforehand.

I enjoy being a outcast wait im a self imposed hermit most day's.

It is funny how many people look down on gaming, but if they looked deeper they would see the art involved in creating the models.
