The list is divided in two sections: Spirit host, hexraiths and cavalry march foreward towards the opponent. Rest of the army slowly advances and raises all the time. My strategy is to use at least 4 dice per turn for raising until turn 2-3. By turn 2 cavalry and lord, or lord alone will have charged something. Hexwraiths will go and wipe everything fast that comes towards the core body of the army.
The main problem is to make the two units of wraiths survive by turn two, where you will have eventualy reached the other side, or charged something. But I think nothing can stop 3 ethereal units and a cavalry with Lord inside.

You can only have 1 "Master of the Dead" per army. Also, your skelly units are both 5 points over in listed cost. Next, I would take 2 units of 1 spirit host over one units of 2. Further, your lord is very vulnerable atop his flying mount ... I don't believe he can join units which makes him susceptible to warmachines and crumble. Last, I would rate vergeists over black knights for this particular build. They don't need to be near the general to march. You could also benefit from a BSB with so many ethereals around.

ok. I will correct the master of the dead. Lord enters the black knights. Even if he is on a flying mount, he can still join cavalry units and benefit from look out sir.
I will consider taking out the black knights, put lord on foot and adding 2 units of vargheists.

You'll want to edit out the individual point costs on unit options and items, as per forum rules.

As far as your list goes, I'd really love to see some Cairn Wraiths in an Ethereal list, maybe drop the Engine and Black Knights for a unit of 4 Vargheists (including Vargoyle) and 2 units of 3 Cairn Wraiths.

That should be about the same points wise, and put you under by about 6 points, using the costs from your list.

I'd also like to see more Cairn wraiths and bulk up the Spirit Hosts (to 5-6) to take on units by themselves.

I ran a 3k ethereal list (10 wraiths, 10 hexwraiths, 6 spirit hosts); all the ethereal survived (the only things that did actually) supported by my general riding w/his cadre of black knights. It's a tough list!
