In the Ghoul King entry it says that 'due to the magical interference rule a Ghoul King can't take magic armour'.

I've read the BRB magic interference rule and it states you can't take 2 magic items from the same catagory.

From the list of equipment the Ghoul King has I don't see a magical peice of armour.

So wtf is up with this ghoul king rule? Is it a grammer error when they translated from UK English to North American English? lol.
Or does his 5+ regne save somehow count as magical armour?


If you go for the RAW then technically the ghoul king can still take magical armour since the Magical Interference rule doesn't apply to him and the reference in the army list is simply a 'reminder' of the BRB rule.

I don't have the BRB in front of me, but doesn't the rule still state that if a model doesn't have the option for a mundane piece of equipment (such as armor) then you can't give it a magical item of that type?

that only applies to wizzards and only armour.

hmmm.... I guess the ghoul king is a wizzard. And he does not have the option for mundane armour.


ok, heh, the rule does make sense now.

Simply forgot the ghoul king is still a level 1 lore of vamps wizzard.
