I know I've been absent before and have pulled off a few disappearances as well. Haven't been on for the last three(?) months either.

Life's simply hectic right now and with another surgery planned for the 24th of January I'll be out of action for some time yet again. I don't want to turn this into a whine-fest but things aren't going well at all. Just when I think I'm getting my life back on tracks shit happens and everything derails yet again.

I'm just really, really tired. Not even my hobbies can relieve the stress I'm having right now. I'm not on any medication as of yet but I'm worried I will be as my depressions are in full swing and PTSD is hitting me hard lately. That combined with physical issues, a neighbor from hell and severe discrimination is no fun at all.

I'm not looking forward to the surgery itself but am towards the recovery as I'll be in a private clinic and taken well care of. My animals stay at a friend's place so no worries there either. Normally recovery sucks but this time it'll be better than staying at home and feeling like jumping off my balcony.

Now I'm not giving up, nor will I ever as I'm just too damn stubborn, but I just don't have the energy for anything at all besides breathing, eating, drinking and sleeping right now.
Just thought it'd be social to let you guys know why I've been away and will be away for some time to come. Hopefully when I return I have something useful to add and also put some work into the Invocation again.
The last five years of my life have been nothing short of hell and I'm sorry this coincided with my stay here as you guys had to listen to all my whining.

Hope everybody else is doing better than me and a happy holidays and happy New Year in advance. I will be back when things are going better.

Don't worry about having to vanish for a while Zephyr all of us here on carpe will keep you in our thoughts and prayers and hope you a very swift recovery and an uplift in your life because honestly anyone that goes through the stuff you have and is still going forward seriously deserves to be happy in their life.

Always remember when ever your down and just feel like you can't go on just think to us here on carpe who want to see you again and enjoy your company and your insights and let that help pull you through everything that life throws in your way as an obstacle because I think all of us would have your back if you really needed someone to talk to at all. I know my pm box is always open for anyone who needs to talk and vent out.

I wish you the best of luck in a swift recovery and a happier time in your life Zephyr and don't worry we'll keep the blood warm for you until you return to us when you feel you can.

Merry Christmas Zephyr. I hope things get better for you, and you find some energy!

Get lots of rest, eat healthy. Eating healthy, sleeping, and getting exercise (not likely if you have surgery) are really key in staying healthy.

And stay social, even if it's on a forum!

Do what you gotta do, Zeph. We'll still be here. Being social when you do not feel like it something no one should be pressured into, so stop by when you feel like it. Not fair to expect more, I say.
