In order to make chat a little more popular perhaps the link for it could be moved to the toolbar at the top of the page (next to "Home" or "Forum" perhaps). It's a little easier to remember to open the chatroom when I can easily see it when I log in and don't have to open an whole 'nuther dropdown menu to find it!

LOL. I wish it would actually notify the user that someone else has entered a message. I frequently leave a chat window open and by the time I get back to it someone has entered, typed in a message, and then left since I didn't respond.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but can't you turn sounds on while in the chatroom? It's in the toolbar at the bottom, I think.

Yes there should be sound notifications.

I think this is a pretty good idea though Trevy, I will look at implementing it.

Apparently.. maybe ON should be the default then and/or at least save that as a default so it doesn't need to be turned on everytime I enter the chat room.

To be honest I am not happy with the whole chat room as it is. It's integration of CN is a bodge and it isn't supported properly. I am looking for an alternative.

Hiya,

Whilst this is totally off-topic and in the wrong place, I'm happy to help you anyway.

The vast majority of roleplays can be found in the Theatre De Vampyre; it's in the main forum index, keep going down until you find it. It's under the sub-forum "Chronicles of Death". (There is a link in my signature).

The one exception to this is the Vampire Council, which is found in the User Projects forum, right near the bottom of the index.
