This thread is for voting on the Minor Bloodline Powers

Please note: This is not to vote whether they fit in with the theme etc. That is what the discussion in the threads is for.

It is to check and ensure we have created fair rules that are not unbalancing, or there is not something grossly wrong that has been over looked.

Minor Blood Powers
The bloodline powers may be chosen by vampires of any bloodline in addition to their specific bloodline powers, however they use up the vampires bloodline allowance as per normal.


Spectral Form - 50pts
As per the VC Army Book

Hunter in the Dark – 25pts
As per the VC Army Book

Abomination - 25pts.
The very existence of the vampire is an affront to nature, permeating an aura of undeath so profound that it causes mortals to cry out in anguish and flee in terror.
The vampire causes terror.

Vampiric Aura - 25 pts
The Vampire controls his undead minions from his mind. As such, minions close to him prove more resilient to crumbling.
Undead within 6" which are in battle, suffer 1 less casualty from crumbling. This is cumulative with other effects such as a BSB, however it cannot stack with other Vampiric Auras

Quicksilver - 20pts
The vampire is strikes swifter than a snake, endless attacks crushing the foe before them
The vampire has +1A.

Dark Resistance - 15 pts
This vampire’s body is so wasted that poison finds no method of travel, and is rendered void
Vampire is immune to Poison.

Lord of the Dead – 15pts
As per the VC Army Book

Summon Creatures of the Night – 15pts
As per the VC Army Book

Summon Ghouls – 15pts

2 things:
1) Isn't Abomination just Supernatural horror with a new name? If so, why bother with the new fluff and name?
2) I'm guessing you mean Spectral form and not Horror.
Apart from these things, I think thats a good list there.

Nothing to say about them; they're fine. Quicksilver could be a bit cheaper though.

I also think that the list of powers look fine as they are, although you should perhaps add that several Vampiric Auras are not cumulative with each other?

Yeah I agree with MS and marcus but other then those two things they look fine.

I've added in a line, I think it reads right - Vampiric Aura can be used with all other effects except another Vampiric Aura - is that what everyone else reads?

All seems to be fine to me...

other then perhaps Quicksilver (seems more like a Blood Dragon or Strigoi power to me, and not really appropriate for a Lahmian).

As said though - this is to discuss the rules not the fluff. When it comes to fluff we could argue about it all day, however the one thing most of us can agree are the rules.
