RE: My Old School Zombie Dragon

Very nice, I love the old school paint job! I think the banner would look better if you paint the white paper edges dark blue, it would finish him off nicely. You inspire me to paint my own, thanks! grin

Edit: what goes for the banner also goes for the base: a little paint on the edges will give it a far neater look! smile

Let me hear the battle cry
Calling on the wind
Let me see the banners fly
Before the storm begins

Thanks, he is an original unaltered model. I believe he was the 4th edition Zombie Dragon - purchased him back in 1996 when I got into Warhammer before Vampire Counts (Armybook was titled "The Undead".

What's neat is I can still use this model as a Zombie Dragon and the SMALLER chariot base is legal.

Although since the Zombie Dragon's stats are horrible for the points he costs, he never, EVER EVVVER gets deployed.

Hee, proper flying cabbage paintjob too! I always preferred the black and bone one they did for the fifth edition Studio army myself, though.

Nice to see someone's hung onto theirs though!

"They groaned, they stirred, they all uprose,
Nor spake, nor moved their eyes,
It had been strange, even in a dream,
To have seen those dead men rise."

-- S. T. Coleridge, The Rime of the Ancient Mariner
