Were are the werewolves

There are were wolves in the warhammer lore.
In the novel Zavant.
Ulric's children in the Gotrek and Felix novels (I think it was troll slayer)
In the old lore.
In the necromantic team in blood bowl (were the flesh golems are also)
There was a were bear character in the mercenary's book.
The space wolves.

It may be old fashioned, but I like my werewolves, worgen, wulfen etc...
It's a classic!! Right down from John William Polidori or Bram Stoker.

Why no bring those in instead of the flesh golems. Or with the flesh golems.

Thanks for everything in advance.

RE: Were are the werewolves

I think GW has allocated the Were-Creatures (Bear as wel las wolf) to he Norse (Chaos) aspect. If I'm not mistaking, they are typically called Ulfwernar (although I have to chech the Chaos Army books to verify this). Remeber that Werewolves, especially the more dangerous kind, is also featured in the Norse team of Bloodbowl.

One never knows what GW will decide for their next book, and although I'm not to keen on seing Flesh Golems (with the exception of in a Necrarch army), neither do I really want werewolves to become a feature of a VC army. We already have the Von Carsteins with the strong wolf theme if one goes by the fluff, as well as the Varghulf.
I can see a Varghulf unit (monstrous Infantry) made from lesser vampires that lost control etc, but thus far something like this is not supported by any current fluff. Werewolves have not really been a strong focus for GW, and to be honest, in the general fluff on them from other sources, they tend to be the enemies of Vampires.

As a side note; If you have read "Requiem -Vampiure Knight", there are some cool werewolves (monstrous infantry type), but again, they are the enemies of the Vampires there as well. Still worth the read though, and the artwork is superb.
