Just got ac ouple of questions as these 2 situations came up in a game tonight. I was playing my DE against VC as Im abit bored with my Vc even with the new book.

1) can ethereal units other then hex wraiths move through units. (im sure I read somewhere that they cannot move through units but cannot seem to find it)

2) can scrolls like the feedback scroll be used against a spell that was cast with IF. The reason I ask is it says used instead of a dispell attempt , but you cannot dispell IF so ou cant use the scroll because you cannot attempt a dispell.

No to both. Hexwraiths have a special rule that allows them to move through a unit & each of the different kinds of scrolls (Feedback, Hex, Dispel) can only used if you are able to make a dispel attempt.

Thanks for the quick reply. Could you please let me know where it says about not going through units(apart from hexwraiths) Im sure I saw it but cannot find it anywhere

Hmm, interestingly, I can't seem to find any direct refernce to prevent you from doing it..... but being that they've created a special rule to allow it, I would say that it's implied under the original Ethereal rule.

You don't need a rule to prevent you from moving through units. That's a core game mechanic!

You would need a rule to allow you to do so. re: Hex Wraiths special rule

Lol, Bishop has got a good point. Everyone just kinda forgot about it because they move through terrain

BRB pag 13 " during movement a unit CANNOT APPROACH less than 1 UM of other units, unless charging.... "

so you can't move trought units, because you're are obliged to stop at 1 UM from them.
