speaking a different languge

seeing as not all of our charicters are Imperial (or Human) some of them may speak diffrent languges besides Imperial so how about when we are speaking Say Brettonian we put a * beside what our charicter is saying so everyone knows they arn't speaking Imperial.

RE: speaking a different languge

Vampires, or at least in olden days where Fluff and Continuinity actually meant something to Warhammer, couldn't speak Elvish without teaching themselves how to do so... I'd imagine that the common tongues (Bretonnian, Imperial, Classical, Gutter-Speak for example) they know instinctively, although Dwarfen, Elven and possibly Chaos languages they'd be less familiar with.

Orcs speak a crude version of Imperial. The "Beast" Tongue is a sub-dialect of Chaos, and thus is mixed in with Chaos as a whole.

Grunting and hitting doesn't seem to have to include reading. It seems that's what Graveclaw does anyway.

Well my character is fluent in:

Druhir (Owing to him)

Imperial (a supplementary language)

Brettonian (learnt for his rule as a duke)

Arabic (Owing to his part in the Great wars)

Eltharin (Ooo, you'll have to find out, won't you!)

Some ancient languages (Scholar)

Knows: Faily well:

Dwarven.

Victorious warriors win first and then go to war, while defeated warriors go to war first and then seek to win.

This might help a bit...on a very tiny off chance

Geralt: All common human languages(Reikspiel, Brettonian, etc), Khazalid(Dwarfish), Ulthuanir(whatever the High Elves use), Beastmen and Norscan dialects

Mrs. Lovette: All common human languages, Old Nehekharan(similar to Vekarin)

Sweeney Todd: All common human languages, Arabic, and all the languages of the Far East(Cathayan, Nipponese and Indhyan)

Toby: Reikspiel only

Lesa can speak all human languages, Khazalid, Druhir & HE language (not sure what it is called), ancient Nehekharan, plus a variety of obscure and dead language learned when she was held captive by Drachenfels.

Having spent the vast majority of her unlife inside the Imperial borders, Helena only speaks...imperial? Is it called reikspiel? Also, she knows the Bretonnian language.

Andreasse speaks only in Bretonnian, whenever he rarely does, heheh.
