Those are looking really really good, Steimy. The red lining on those Blood Knights is very striking and your freehand is excellent.

Thanks Vekarin. Here are a few more angles and pix. I was kinda in a rush b4 and was just learing how to post. Not sure how to post thhee pic so its not an attatchment. So if anyone can help me there i would appreciate it. The graveyard double as a scenery piece at home and a display board for tourneys. The mausoleum is detatchable, the shot glass in the hill is for dry ice. It creates a really cool foggy graveyard effect. Its always a hit at the tourneys. Next time i get some ill post some pics of that. Im looking to put some kind of little strobe light in there too, to get that really creepy feel. The rip stone with the crow is detatchable and doubles as a 9 man/deadman unit filler usually for the graveguard now. As do the empty 20mm slots you see that usually have gravestones in them. I do still have a few more highlights to do on some things, BK horses, aslo their bases need some finishing. I love that cotton mist on the etherals ive seen, so if no one minds ill steal that idea for my hosts and banshee. And i have a unit of ghouls that still need some minor highlights i'll add those when i finish them

RE: steimy's horde

Yeah sure, all i have to do is convince the wife to go get some ice cream. That wont be too hard.( i get the dry ice at a homemade ice cream shop near me). Not sure if will be 2nite, but ill try and have it by the weekend. The stuff is super cheap. Its under $2 a pound. When i have a tourney i have to buy like 5lbs the night b4. Alot of it evaporates. For a same night application 1 lb will do.

RE: steimy's horde

Well sir that may be the best display board ever. I am now going to convert the chapel on my board to hold dry ice.

RE: steimy's horde

that is awesome stuff. as others said, the idea of the black coach going off the bridge is epic! i havent seen that before, and i think that is the best idea for the coach that ive seen. it even inspires me to buy another one just to use some of your idea (but ill give you credit for the concept if i ever get around to thatgrin)

as for the display board, that is perfect timing. i had just made a post the other day in the work in progress threat about display boards, so this is great! i had not even thought of dry ice, but that is such a great idea. i might have to think about something like that as i put mine together.

how did you build up that church? that might be another good idea to look into.

I'm loving the dry ice, although that doesn't really need saying! The work on your Blood Knights is fantastic, I love the freehand designs on the Barding. I'm also jealous that you have the money to buy Blood Knight models! I'm using High Elf Dragon Princes when I get round to buying some.

RE: steimy's horde

Unfortunately these are the only photos i took of the construction. I had planned on documenting the whole thing but i got kinda over zealous and forgot to take more pics. The Mausoleum is built mainly with craftstore foamboard. The front door is from the citadel tower. The one i bought had 3 of the same sprue, so GW sent me a whole new one. The Statues are from the chapel. And the window vents on the bottom are bit pieces. The Top border is also from a craft store.

I would not payy $90 for the BK's either. I bout them when they were cheaper, plus i get a discount from the hobby store i frequent. My inspiration for the black coach is from Van Helsing. I originally wanted to do a 4 horse coach, but i think that would have been too big. Thanks for all the positive feedback everyone, its nice to hear the hard work has payed off.
