Hi all. I found this on my facebook, posted by an Australian GW store.

Sounds quite promising if it turns out to be true.

Color me cautiously optimistic. The big Blood Bowl tournament in Italy recently had a million more participants than that official AoS tournament GW put together. I'm sure that raised some eyebrows in Nottingham.

So I'm guessing it will be different from what we are expecting. What we are expecting is a return to how 'specialist games' were run, but what we are probably getting is a branch akin to Fantasy Flight Games that produces GW License board games that double as miniature games.

Indeed, pretty much spot on mate

Hastings has been a pretty reliable source of information for a rather long time, so it certainly sounds like something is in the works. Let's hope they make something good of it.

There are job openings for this new team on the official website.

I'm really excited for this but hopefully the games will not change too much in their new incarnation. I play all the Specialist Games except for Gorkamorka so I say bring it! If the rules aren't to my taste I will at least have some new models to play with.

It seems that someone at GW has woken up. Plastic 30K and now this...there might still be a future after all.

Oh I've heard of this and my money is already on WHFB returning as a "specialist game". Might help explain why all the rules are back on sale again, although only in digital form. That would be interesting.

I hope Mordheim and Warhammer Quest makes it onto that list at some point, man those games were fun a hold a special place in my childhood memories. I still have heaps of Mordheim models and all the warhammer quest tiles and bits and pieces.

These pics were seen at the Nuremberg Toy fair as GW seems intent on getting into the toy buisness with specilist games ascting as their new franchise as well as beginner model sets for newcomers to Games Workshop products

Yeah I've seen that. I heard something funny about it in a certain blood bowl community on facebook, though: GW aren't really right to say that blood bowl returns since it never really died. Apparently there are lots and lots of players around the world who still play it, and I've just picked it up myself.
