A Knight of Blood

A tale of Ushkar Mir, servant of Khorne, who wants to join the army of Archaon. However, one does not easily gain favor of the Everchosen. Mir has to brave four tests before he will be considered worthy of such an honor.

What's the relation of the story to us? It's simple. Ushkar and his Bloodslaves are passing their tests in the realm of Shyish :)

The Many-Eyed Servant, agent of Tzeentch and unwilling vassal of Archaon, trespassers the Bone Sands in Shyish, where an ancient Realmgate can be found. This gate, surrounded by thousands of bones and skulls and guarded by two necrosphinxes, leads to Ghur, where the Bloodslaves are waiting for them to open.

Servant opens the gate and lets them in. The first test begins - they have to fight the undead, suddenly coming back to life with all their ancient weapons and armor, and both sphinxes. The dead fight with all the alacrity of the living, and present quite a challenge. It took them some time, especially considering the sphinxes, but eventually the fight was won. Ushkar Mir defeats singlehandedly the first sphinx with his daemonic axes, and the second is destroyed by the others but manages to bring down one khorgorath with his venom tail.

The Bloodslaves go deep into the desert for the next test. It's not easy, for provisions soon start to end and there's nothing to burn or hunt. Cold, thirst and hunger plague them all the way long, including the spirits of the dead. Yet they go on, despite heavy losses.

Finally they come to an oasis. But it's the land of death, is it not? Indeed. The water is poisoned by the warpstone, and all who drink deep from it, die horribly (including one which skeleton runs away leaving his flesh standing on the ground. Nagash is humorous guy!). But it's a test nevertheless, and Mir has to drink - but only one drop. He does, and falls to darkness.

Then he wakes and watches servants of Khorne (daemons and mortals alike) storming some mighty citadel. They push siege towers to its great walls, towers so giant they must not move at all, yet Chaos has no respect for natural laws and they move despite their size.

There, on the wall, Mir meets another Ushkar Mir, the one who he was before choosing to serve the Blood God. They talk to each other, and Mir says he wants revenge, so once he will stand before Khorne, spit in his face and bury his axes in his head. "Gods die", says he. But the vision fades and he falls to darkness once more.

He passed the test, the many-eyed servant judged him worthy. A new portal appeared and they went through it in search for Archaon, who was also somewhere in Shyish. But other chaos worshippers also seek his favor, and the Bloodslavers see the servants of Nurgle marching down the hills with cheerful music. Their destiny awaits.

The end :)

I might have misunderstood this thread, and the others - these aren't your own stories? You're re-telling things from the AoS fluff?
