Is it any good Wolfie? I've heard the single and have been meaning to order the album.. will have to be off amazon I fear.. I don't think it will get a local release here, and aside from going into one of the specialist metal stores and paying exhorbent 'imported' prices for it, I think ordering it online will be the way to go...

Myself, well it's 1.45am at the moment... so just silence... but of late it's been 'wish' by the cure, and 'challengers' by the new pornographers...

Oh my god.. I haven't listened to that song in years! I don't think I even have that album it is on (I have the album that followed it, but it has been years since I listened to that one as well). I love that Mulder and Scully song though.. long time X-phile here, have all the seasons on dvd (funnily enough, haven't watched seasons 8 or 9 since I bought them.. any x-file fan will get why that is), have action figures from the movie still in the original packaging, have collectable 12" dolls/figures of mulder and scully that sideshow toys did a run of.. so yeah total nerd

Listening to silence again as it is late here, just on the witching hour in fact.. but today it was Within Temptation - The Heart of Everything.

Tonight just found out that Maiden are going to be touring Oz next feb for the first time in 15 years (and I saw them live the last time they were here, so feeling a bit old lol), and that a couple I'm friends with that I emailed tonight to see if they wanted to go, told me that they had hoped that I didn't see that they are going to be touring, as they are getting me a ticket to go with them as a christmas present, so I'm thinking that for the next few days, Maiden is going to be on very high rotation! Did you see that they have got their own huge jet that Dickinson is going to fly them and the crew and all the equipment in for this tour?! No wonder they have finally made their way back down here!

Yeah, I read about that on the IM site. It'll be great for Oz fans as they've been very neglected by the band.

I'm just a bit "ho-hum" about another greatest hits tour, something Maiden said they'd never do and here we are with a second one on the cards.

I'd love to be 'ho-hum' about another greatest hits tour from Maiden...

Except this is only their 4th tour here in a career that has spanned almost 30 years (I so envy you Europeans, it's not funny), so I will continue running around going 'OMG! I cannot believe I might actually get to hear Aces High and Rime and Revelations and Powerslave and Wasted Years live!' like a madman thank you very much!

I'm an aussie, that is my excuse for my behaviour. You know, I think that would even stand up in court! :D

*goes and puts on South Tacoma Way by Neko Case*

What? Who says you can't both enjoy metal and country??!
