There's a Skaven player I sometimes play against with a unique disposition, the open play gamer with a huge collection of old models and old rules who likes to throw together weird armies just for the heck of it, the kind of gamer 1e AoS was originally made for.
My personal disposition is much more mainstream when it comes to my own armies, but I'm happy to play against whatever, so today I got to see how 1500 points of Vyrkos fares against 10 doom wheels and a single engineer.
Pretty well it seems. He took out my blood-born and vargskyr turn one with shooting, but bogged down against my wolves & infantry (thanks in part to 5+ wards courtesy of Torgilius and a Necro with the Phylactory), then got hit hard by a zombie dragon counter assault, blasting his warlock off the table with pestilential breath before munching a couple wheels. the infantry also punched above their weight thanks to well above average rolling, taking out a wheel each.
We called it after round one since the writing was on the wall. Short game, but we're both pretty slow players, so I've got no complaints there.
...
I had some points left over in my list, so I slapped a quick paint job on this aethervoid pendulum. Pretty happy with the result. Sadly I failed to cast it the one chance I had. It would have hit like four doomwheels too, his stuff was all lined up perfectly for it. Oh well.
