Here we go, I think.

My meta is heavy on the special terrain from the rulebook. But I can play more moderately depending on what you want. Just saying im used to chaos on the battlefield.

Your meta is the complete opposite of mine with regards to terrain. ETC fever has swept over my area for the past year or so, so no mysterious/magical terrain of any sort IIRC.

That said, I don't mind playing with magical terrain. Just not too much. Terrain rules are one of the things I despise in 8ed.

My first attempt of a map, so any feedback is welcome.

The road down the map is just intended as ordinary open ground, just gave me something to work out from.

Lets do that, I have at least bought an army to handle any scenario. Well at least as well as wood elves can expect to handle any scenario.

Here is my army, is fairly standard wood elf army of 8th edition.

Same here, I try to write my lists for all comers too. I happen to have a Wood Elf army book though so I'll go take a browse through that instead of pestering you with questions. Here's mine:

Rolling for mission.

Could i get a PM on Banner of the barrows, Flag of the Blood Keep. And who might have attacks that counts as magical, apart from the ogre blade wearing vampire lord.

Blood and Glory it is. Well its better than the watchtower scenario. First time im not facing graveguards refreshing.

Rolling for deployment zone. Remember ill place a forest in my deployment zone, before we get to place units.

Ah yes terrain.
Was thinking the obstacles are just ordinary walls, and the hills are rather normal looking.
Im thinking one or both forests are mysterious, and one or both buildings could be arcane structures. Depending on what you prefer.

Ill bring an ordinary forest.

I'm fine with the obstacles and hills. As for the buildings and forests, let's have them be arcane buildings and mysterious forests, since I haven't played with magical terrain in a while.

We do need to roll for the arcane buildings right? If so I'll roll for both, left dice will be the one on top:

Remembered wrong there is nothing on the randomise list called arcane structures. We have the Steadfast sanctums or the Sinister structures.

Steadfast sanctums you have rolled a Wizard tower and a sigmarite shrine.
Sinister structures we have a Banestone and a Haunted mansion. Banestones not really being buildings.
Guess we could also take one of each.

And we also need to agree on how high our towers are,1,2,3 floors or higher.

So north is a wizard tower. And south is a haunted tower.
Is it 3 floor high towers, and I think you can roll for deployment zone.

I have placed forest roughly in the middle.

Actually we should do that before deployment.

I'll kick off rolling for spells. My Lord(L4) will take Vamps, as will my Necro, and my hero vampire will take Shadows.

My Lord rolled a duplicate Hellish Vigour, so I'll swap that for IoN.

Necro rolled a duplicate Vanhels', so I'll swap that for Gaze. I'll also swap Curse of Years on the Necro for IoN

I'll swap Withering for Miasma on the vamp.

Necromancer(L2): IoN, Gaze of Nagash
