Good evening fellow dead players!
Here is a little trip inside a raising army for AOS.
The initial idea came a long time ago and died shortly after I have started it because of a lack of players. It was when Legion of Nagash Battle tome get out. As I have always loved Dark elves and decided to start a Death army, I have mixed it to give life to the Dark thirst coven.

Now I have met new players and I'm ready to give a second breath to this project. Be aware I'm slow and not as good as some of you, but I'm sure I will be able to go through with a bit of support.

To begin group picture form few months of what I thought would have been the birth of the Dark thirst coven...

More pics and explanations soon...
Time to go to coffin.

Hi!
As I have said the first picture was the initial idea of my army... then it changes as I have started a Path to Glory campaign with a Vampire lord as champion. To test my paint scheme I have used a necromancer. Few words about the colour scheme; I have tried something blue but didn't find it nice and easy enough (bad painter in da place!) so I have seek inspiration on internet and finally found something obvious... Requiem, chavalier vampire of Olivier Ledroit a French illustrator. Mostly black and white with few colour on the palette. I advise you to look at his work, it's brilliant.

From few selected pictures I have decided to use red as major colour and extend the idea to the blood for the spirit. The famous Bloodhaunt.
I kept the white skin but with blue shadows to give a bit of cold to the warm red (shadowed in blue as well)
As I im not a good painter, I have decided to paint the eyes green in a way that should suggest the power beneath the flesh, or bones.
So here is the result:

As I have been painted more minis since this lady I know I have to highlight the black. And I ask myself if I have to paint the ghost eyes in green to?

Soon I will share with you her 3 bodyguards.
Thanks for reading (French guy with poor English sorry)
