Greetings one and all,

I have recently begun work on a chapter of renegade marines who can use either the normal marine rules or the Chaos Space marine rules to try and make things a bit easier on my poor crying wallet. I have, however, began considering the merits of having a full company of mechanised renegades. Suffice to say, its an exciting prospect for me in lieu of waiting for the Vampire Counts.

Do you play 40k at all? what force do you use? Whats your opinion on the matter?

- V

I do..well kinda. I got into it for a while so I have a selection of of models. I ended up with:

  • TAU - love the mecha approach and railguns
  • Tyranids - My first 40K army back when I was a wee lad, omnomnomnom
  • Votann - Dwarfs were my first WHFB army, and so when these came out with a sci-fi grudgin I couldn't say no
  • I also ended up with Slaanesh models...because why not!
Any other 40k collectors here?

I have too many started or planned projects so I won't list everything but my largest ones are:
  • Blood Angels Firstborn force - because space vampires!
  • Death Guard as a main Chaos force
+ a smaller force from every Cult Legion
+ Night Lords for Chaos Undivided - because more space vampires!
  • Death Korps of Krieg - love how Imperial Guard brings the retro feel of tanks, artillery, cavalry, etc. Great that DKoK got the plastic treatment recently
  • Space Wolves - my first 40k army (Bjorn is what got me into 40k); returning to them now with the amazing new wave of miniatures
