After being misdirected here after drinking from the Google-fu Cup, I appear to have landed in paradise!

VCs was the army I always wanted, but at the time just couldn't afford. Now with 3d printing... 🤪🥳

I have started back into WHFB for both ToW and 6th edition - the latter for the great memories and the former to support the corporate shills who have finally realised there are so many gamers out there who want to give them money as long as they do the right thing.

I print in old scale 28mm to match the original models and also in 10mm. Why 10mm? Same game smaller space...

i like the idea of mini scale. Really wanted to get into Warmastet back in the day, but heard the game wasn't very good. Just downscaling whfb/ow could work well though.

I hope you enjoy old world. It's definitely got some kinks to work out - most notably for a 'rank and flank' game blocks of infantry don't seem to work as well as they should, so on the competitive end things seem a bit dominated by cavalry & monsters, but that's nothing a second edition couldn't eventually clear up, and in the mean time the game's still pretty fun & functional.

Vamp counts in particular, while relegated to 'legacy', have a pretty strong ruleset. Good times for the undead.
