Many people are seeing his death as a good thing but what they don't understand is the AWB have already said they will be getting revenge for his death. This could turn really nasty as the AWB have tried terrorist tactics before so this could lead to something big. I hope for the sake of the white people over their that something dosen't kick off as they are the onces in a major minority (Don't take this as racist I just think they are the most vulnerable at the this time).

Any other views on the matter?

I, for one, am not really happy about the UEFA World Cup being held there this year... There is a party of 23 Dutch people who left some days ago, trekking through Africa to South Africa. I just got this small thought that they compare Dutch people to the former apartheid laws, seeing that the Boeren were predominantly Dutch, Belgian and German (half of Belgium was part of the Netherlands at that time though).

About his 'punishment'. I'm not really happy about death sentences or killing people for their own law enforcement. The Netherlands has been based on justice by recovery into the community. In other words, not labeling them as criminals or 'different' and try to work with them to fix the problems of sorts. Of course, some can't be helped because of mental disorders, so they end up in psychological institutes.

It seems to work. I've heard of very few withdrawal criminal activities, other than illegal drugs transport (which I think a lot of countries dislike if they hear the Netherlands is pretty much weed capital of the world...)

Oh crud I didn't even think about that!:| I just hope both sides can calm down and not have a go at each other because of this. I think white people in Africa should be very vocal about not being associated with the AWB. I don't think there's a lot more they could do honestly.
We've seen in other African countries what happened to white farmers who never supported apartheid but simply got butchered for being white. Racism isn't just "all others vs. blacks".

As for his death being a good thing...no. I do not believe in killing, even though I could strangle some folks at times, and with people like this there's always another crazy to fill the position. Not only that but it also validates their crazy ideas in their minds.
