Ooooh, what models are those? You actually found a good werewolf model? You've got me curious!

And don't worry about photo quality, mine are just as bad and I have no plans on upgrading anytime soon. :)

The werewolfs are Lupine ragers,I got all of those mini's from miniature-giant.The gangrel vamp is a dark heavens demoness...I love her cloven hooves.She'll have flying horror,summon ghouls and the WBOBG.

Yeah,there will be stage by stage pics.I'll get them all done,but I work erratically and am prone to sudden fits of productivity.
What follows are the werewolves bases,this basing theme will continue throughout the army.Sparse vegetation will be added later.

I think your wolf looks great at the moment....I think a red wash may make it look a little odd. MAybe a res wash on his arms and around its mouth or something, but not the whole body! He may be a bloodthirsty wolf but hes not a khornite wolf....is he?

Maybe a black wash all over might be betetr if you did want to inclued a wash!

No,more like a vampire sweating blood.I want to imphasize the undead nature of the wolf.Plus,the army itself is gonna be alot of bloody bones and pale skin.The Idea came to me when I was thinking of how to paint my gangrel demoness.IIRC it was "Lady Bathori" or some such who used to bathe in the blood of virgins :perv:
Plus a blood soaked "White Wolf" seemed appropriate to the theme.I'm optimistic,I plan to make it tasteful and highlight over it.For better or worse I should have the results up tomorrow,note:I'm not going for a gorey look.Just blood-slicked.

Thanks,before this tale is through I'll have a better cam and everything will be revisited in detail.I'll have more pics up soon;I'm caught in the gears of my workweek right now,and when I paint it's usually an all day affair.

The models I've shown thus far are far from RnF and will be the showpeices of my army.I'm being very meticulous,as I am much more concerned with the quality of the product than how quickly I can get it done.

I'm kind of torn right now as to how I should do the ghostly models.My original plan was to use SethDrallitoc's(sp?) method.
Prime black ans graduate greys to white upwards and cover in a wash,
OR..do you think it would look better if I took more advantage of the models details and paint them more "Traditionally"?
A third option I considered was to do the wash thing on just the "flesh",and do the garb and gear normally.
Any advice?
