This thread is for voting on the core choice Nagashi Cultists for the Legion of Nagash.

Please note: This is not to vote whether they fit in with the theme etc. That is what the discussion in the threads is for.

It is to check and ensure we have created fair rules that are not unbalancing, or there is not something grossly wrong that has been over looked.

Nagashi Cultists - 10 pts./model

Though ranked low in the plans of Nagash, these mortals follow him without question. The belief they have in their Dark Lord lends them a fanatical fury which they vent on those who would defy their god and master.

Unit Strength: 10-25

Equipment
Morning Star and Heavy Armour

May choose the following equipment upgrades (costs are per model):
Flails +1pts

Options:
-Any unit may upgrade one Cultist to a Musician for +5 pts.
-Any unit may upgrade one Cultist to a Champion for +10 pts.
-Any unit may upgrade one Cultist to a Standard Bearer for +10 pts.
-Any unit may give their Standard Bearer a magic banner of up to 40 pts.

N.B: If the army does not contain a Nagashi Captain, a cultist unit does not fill a minimum core requirement slot.

I think they look pretty good although their magic banner limit does stick out a little bit. A 25-points allowance is the standard for non-elite core infantry which these fellows would fit right into. In my opinion, of course.

Yes all the units in the Legion have a higher banner limit to show firstly the magical artefacts Nagash can draw on, and secondly because most of the banners are around 40pts!

However it should not be really unbalanced as the unit has to pay out 40pts....
