Oathmark

Wondering, has anyone played any games of Oathmark, the ranks and flanks fantasy rules by Osprey? I've played quite a bit with my Dad, using old Lord of the Rings human and goblin forces, and I really like the game system. I know they have released an expansion book for Undead armies, my Dad has reported that people at his club have slated it as being really weak and I wondered if anyone here had tried it and had any input?
