In this thread I will be posting my work on 40k armies and other predominantly SF or non-fantasy stuff. 🙂

Been collecting Space Wolves for a long time...40k currently in hiatus here, but tought I'd show some.
Need to get a few more vehicles, and the new releases, still.

Anyway, here they are:

Hehe, thanks, glad you like it. As for the painting...ugh...never really got around to that...guess I didn't want to mess them up with lousy paintjob. =P
Much more detail and diversity in every troop, than in a generic unit like, let's say - clanrats (whom there are 100+ in an army).

Heya. Long time since I last posted here.
Thousand Sons have been one of my favourite armies since I got into the hobby, along with Space Wolves (ironic, heh). Finally started collecting some...ideas started flooding, Chaos whispered to me and I was tainted.

Here is the first of many to come - it's a Terminator Lord, quite large. Waiting for Grey Knight torsos to arrive so I can make the rest of the team. Already have the weapons, heads and egyptian themed shoulderpads.

I'll be using the Necrarch Vampire (not my paintjob, mind you) as a size reference from now on, he has a nice "looking at something bigger" posture.

Here is the full squad, mostly finished. All arms and heads are magnetized and fully interchangeable.

Hey man. Looking super!

I love the size you've got here. It makes a better impression than the actual SM models. If you ask me I'd like all termies to be about that height, or close to.
Yes your lord is large, but is he not supposed to be? He's a friggin' Chaos Lord! Seriously badass!

That is pretty stellar, but.. why is everything interchangeable? Is it because there are other arms on the side that you would want to trade out for, I guess that is probably the answer. Although the heads wouldn't need to be changed out :konrad: Still cool.

The Termi-lord almost looks like he is about to slam that pole-arm into the ground and try to dance around it :pumpkin:

Thanks guys, glad you like them. :)

Tarkas - Exactly. Termies are a badass unit, and a little bit of extra height makes them just as imposing as they should be.

Santawraith - Nice! They will be post-heresy Thousand Sons, but my intention was to keep them clean from chaos arrows as much as possible. Want to make them look clean, but still distinctively Chaos. Oh, and egpytish...lots of that.

Tawg - Aye, I have more termie hands laying around (and will have more in the future probably)...basically, I want to be able to make whatever combo I like (that is possible by the rules). As for the heads, I managed to buy a oop custom kit, that looks stunning (a part of it - LINK)...so wanna be able to give them some of those heads as well sometimes.

Time flies and it's been almost 10 years since I last shared 40k stuff!

After Space Wolves and Thousand Sons it was time for Blood Angels/Flesh Tearers and more recently for Death Guard.
So effectively, that's Werewolves in space, Egypt themed ghosts in space, Vampires in space, and guys with scythes, in space. 🤔 Guess I just can't move away from all those motifs connected to the Undead. 😁

Well, in the last half a year or so, I have collected almost all there is to collect from Death Guard. A lot of it is still unassembled but thought I'd show the progress so far.

I'm really happy with how my Typhus conversion worked out, I much prefer it to the official version which kinda looks like he's dancing. I used the corpse from the AoS Nurgle Pusgoyle Blightlords box for his right arm.

Here he is alongside Scribbus Wretch and a Poxwalker. Scribbus has a minor headswap conversion - used a head which is also from the Pusgoyle Blightlords box.

Finished assembling the Lord of Virulence this week. One of the most layered miniatures I have assembled, really impressive build and looks great in person. Love the amount of character and details they put into DG units.
Currently working on the Plague Surgeon, don't like his face so doing my twist on it. 🔪

Like I said, didn't like the official face (Link for reference), so I gave him a...plastic surgery *YEEEEAAAAHHH!!* 😎
Generally I do tend to use as many armoured heads on my DG as possible, as seen previously on Scribbus as well.
Wanted to give him more of a Plague Doctor look so I used the armoured goblin head from the Squig Hoppers box. Took a lot of cutting and carving, and here he is:
