I think I need to reintroduce my plog for any new people veiwing it. I played undead for as long as nagash stalked the land. I am undertaking a army build that will bring a unified undead army again. Using both the vampire counts and tomb king books but all the same models except ones unique to either army. Old mini's new ones alternitve models, and anything else I can come up with will be added. So sit back and read through a plog of a True Undead Army.

The Dragon Legion.​

Well I think my army being posted would be better here as a log Most of it isnt finsihed yet. But I can share a few that are.

The Standard Bearer for one of my skeleton units.

Konrad the One bat short I had to have him for my blood dragon's mostly army he is close to being one if you go off the look of the armor.

A interesting conversion I did, It's hard to picture that wraiths only use scythe's

His name screamed at me. Looked too much like the scream guy I had to add him to my wraith unit. Which I might add is a very multi color unit on perpose.

I will add more as I get more pictures taken. Red Duke for example when he is fully based.

Thats some nice painting you'ev done there-well done.
The banner on the skeleton looks great, and i love the colour on Konrad-you've even managed to paint his eyes :zombie: I do admire you for being able to paint such detail!

Another Strigoi I just love them, Almost started using them as ghast for my ghouls but didnt.

A reaper wraith with a battle standard, In warhamer world I use him as a wight king with army standard

Hey some great stuff so far. I'm loving that banner you're wife made. That reaper with standard too is really nice. The painting on the Strigoi is nice, but I can't stand the sculpt. Any GW Strigoi is, yeah, rather hideous. Still, nice stuff, looking forward to seeing more!

I really like this. It doesn't have the normal chaos giant head and hooves but he really comes across as being a crazed follower of chaos. Like a supersized maruader! I think its the way you've painted the face and the skin colour. Nice work

It's wonderfully done. I have a friend back home who has two he made himself....one out of a Coffee can, which was awesome. Folgers=Stompa, apparently.

Great work, and the paint is Ace!

And yes, a Red Stompa does move faster.

Strigoi's were never my favorite either but my wife paints them so well. One would never belive they have a blue undercoat either.

The Camara didnt do the Red Duke the Justice he deserves it is a beautiful peice. But the photo is very good. Looks pale and very scary in person. Hopefully the Red Duke on nightmare takes better pics.

Well thanks for the wonderful comment on the banshee.

Here at long last the Red Duke On his Pet named Fluffy (I dont ask anymore my daughter named it.) Also known as a Abbysal Terror, My next Red Duke Project is a Zombie Dragon.

Currently still working on finishing the hellstead my daughter crippled, it was a pony with wing's. She thought it should be able to fly. It crashed instead.

Thanks Count and as asked here is another we refer to him as our pet squig, or as my daughter calls him squishy. I really think she was trying to say squig. We found him in a lot we bought, no idea of the make but its not gw. That is a dreadnought base, he is sitting on. He was bare metal when we started on him.

Wow, you are pumping out new stuff at a fast pace! Did you cut off the banner on the base and gave it to the gg or have you painted two identical banners? :O

Everything look really good. It's hard to comment on everything when there is so much at the same time.

You got a good thing going with the dire wolves and the rest of your beasts, they tie nicely in to each other with the colours you have given them.

A comment on the red on the armour, I know that you go for that look but I think that it could use a dark red wash to give it more depth and definition. The red duke model is awesome, really scary in some way, dont know why.

About the Banshee, I just have to echo what Sanai said, very good use of melancholy colours on her.

And those hands... brr.. they are really creepy. Good work on them!

I haven't had much time to paint letely, we had alot of this stuff done like the wolves prior to joining the forum. The two main things we have done since joining is the two red duke figures. But after the store finishes moving, I'll get back to painting eight hours a day.

With the banners, I painted them side by side the objective counter was basically my test subject. As for the beasts, thanks we have tried and tensted alot to get them that way.

Hmm I'll try that on my current blood dragon figure, and see how I like it. But we have a custom wash of red ink and red wash we have been using the picture really doesnt do the item justice. In person he is even more scary, when a mini sends chills up your back you know its a good paint job.

THis is my hellsteed Project. I couldnt wait too show him off he turned out too well. I plan to add dragon Icongraphy to the sides of the nightmares barding. and of course the rider which im gonna now start working on again.


I do so love my little banshee's I got so many of them vlads old harem. And thing and his freinds are awsome I have the old familier that was a dismembered hand and felt he needed freinds and we had extra hands laying around.
