Thanks! :)

@ Fritz von Carstein: I like the idea of Skeletons converted from Swordsmen. And I have to say, that banner is awesome! :D

Only one of the two units so far (have to take pictures of the other one, but I'm soooo lazy when it comes to taking photos xD ). Anyway, here you go:

SPEARMEEEN!! :|

Both of those units looks great, and it's nice to see people give spears to their Skeletons (the models are so badass). :)

FallenAngel, I'm with you. I have about 100 Skeletons too (40 with spears), but unfortunately I have only total of 40 models painted. Well, at the start of the next year I'm moving to paint my Skeletons. :) Hopefully they get better statline or cheaper models in the next book, I really want to use Skeletons but Ghouls are just better. o_o

- Cheers, Skarsnik.

Thanks count kill alot,

The verdigris (copper rust effect  ) is actually pretty easy to achieve. I used washes of thinned Scaly Green over the areas I wanted the verdigris to be on. Depending on how many layers you do the effect gets depth. You can also add Ice Blue for a heavily corroded metal. Wolf Fang has done that on his skaven models. I'm not entirely sure what colours he used though.

I used some slightly different paints than Dogmar, but It's basically the same colour, just mixed up using different colours. Just mix some Hawk Turqouise, Dark Angels Green and water (3:1:8) and apply it into the recesses. :)

My old skellys.... Well.... they were skellys. But they were also sort of boring. :( Just a bunch of naked boney guys.....

However, I did have a unit of specters back then... (Not regulation of course, but for most battles they were simply treated as skeletons for game purposes...) and now they did look nifty.

They were from some alternate source, but I don't remember who made them.... Harlequin maybe?

I'm thinking that I might splash them with a suitable bit of bloody gore, and make them victims of the "Red Death" now cursed to seek out and slay the living with the corrupting plague touch of the Red Pox. Giuliana just might want these guys......

I actually quite like these minis they look awesome and the colors are brilliant, they could easily pass as spirit hosts or even naked wraiths for a bit of sex appeal or disappeal take your pick.:perv:
But again love them, love them, love them.

Cool models Dark Rose.

I have a fever today so I had some time to paint random models. And as you might know, the best ideas come when you have a fever. xD

And what's the best, the Skeleton from other miniature range has only very small size different with GW models. :D
