After verifying the results I am very pleased to announce the winners of the Golden Bat 2025 Halloween Special! Before I go into the results I want to thank everyone who took park in this years competition, not only did you make it brilliant, it was an important one as we try to reinvigorate the forum. I hope you will all continue to spend time on the community here, and of course get ready for our next competition which will reintroduce tiers to give newer/novice painters chances at winning - details at the end of the post!
Now please join me in congratulating the winners! (Winners with prize vouchers, please PM me

Painting
I appreciate the overall effort that went into the Ushabti so much - the amazing 3D sculpting and reimagination of one of my favourite WHFB units. I love the vibrant paintjob and the colours used and how well it all works together, from modelling to the finished model. So decided I want to show appreciation for the overall work that went into it.
As mentioned above if we can get enough entrants (similar to this time), I will reintroduce tiers. I appreciate it can be potentially disheartening to try and compete with some of the amazing skilled painters we have, especially judging by this years entries, so this will separate out those highly-skilled/professional grade painters to give there rest of us normal painters a chance (me included!)
There will be additional criteria next time around winning prizes as well, with monetary awards limited to active members (there will be a reasonable but minimum post count), as I of course want to encourage and reward members who give back to Carpe Noctem. As a general idea, if you are just actively posting updates in your painting log that should be more than enough.
