I'm an Australian, married father of two young children who serves in the Navy, so I'm often away from home and when I am at home I often have limited time for the hobby. I try to make the time, though, because it really is the way that I take time out and recharge my batteries.
I've been around the fringes of the hobby for about 20 years, but really only got into it seriously through Lord of the Rings SBG when I was living in Canada in 2007. Since then I have gotten into 40K and finally Fantasy, although ultimately Fantasy proved to be the game I enjoyed most.
I started with Bretonnians, got some Wood Elves and finally took the plunge into the Undead with Vampire Counts, but it is the unliving who ended up being by far my favourite army to paint and to play. Now I'm making the transition (after resisting for years) to the Age of Sigmar and am excited by the opportunity for my undead to walk once again...
