Thanks for the nostalga trip. The video brought back memories and had me singing along. I sort of stopped playing after the second game, when it started dancing all across different platforms, timeframes and characters, and the actual third game was no-where in sight. It really was a high point...

Interesting, going to have to find a copy of that rulebook, just for that lone sentence (any idea what page? The rulebooks a fair size). Should be cheap enough. I still like to consider WHF and 40k the same universe, because its interesting. Hm, perhaps this would be the best place to ask my...

Well, sadly it didn't end well for the vampires, though we all learned a lot. So thats a bonus. I took... Vampire Lord barded nightmare heavy armor shield red fury quickblood ogre blade earthing rod Wight King, great weapon Wight King, great weapon, lance, mounted, barding lvl2 Necromancer...

Hm, thanks for the reply. Its a shame that most of the armies i'll be fighting, in fact in practice pretty much all of them, taking Terror will be a weakness. It may be something I can bring out against Wood Elves, Brets or Dwarves. I suppose we'll have to see. It would still be nice if people...

So, I know Fear and Terror are less effective in 8th, but this is from word of mouth as I only started playing this edition. But what are the specifics here? In theory, if you have the points, having a terror causing Etherial in my skeleton units sounds interesting. Has anyone really...

i'll read that thread, thanks. :) I've spent the time still starting the thread reading around, so with whats mentioned here, i'm starting to form a plan. I'm going to actually get around to using/building my Hexwraiths, spread out my wizards/magic users, take what flaming attacks I can, take...

Hey guys, its been a while. This coming monday, I have a 4.5k a-side game against Ogres. But not just that, since only two of us have a Fantasy army ready, we are using it to get a few other members of our gaming group used to the game. Myself included, somewhat, as i've only played two...

Do I really need musicians for my zombies? It just occured that witht he extra 20 points, and what else I have left over, I may just be able to upgrade either my vampire or necromancers wizard level.

Thanks. Ah, okay, i'll make the GG carry the BotB then. I'll also see what I can drop to fit an extra 10 ghouls, if I own that many. Its one of the few units I still need to build up. Same with CH. As it is I have one of each witht he TG and ME. :)

Hey guys. I had an test game when I first started collecting, but monday i'm having my frst proper battle with my VC. My foes will likely either be Orgres, Daemons, or Orcs. I'm going for a Blender Lord and Grave guard style list, as being able to do a lot of damage close up is vital aganst all...

So killing it outright is the only way then. Huh. That could be... problematic.

True enough. We just have to hope the dice are on our side in the turn, or two, we try and deal with them. Hopefully it won't be as cut as dried as losing our MCs or HQs every game. I've found, with 40k at least, things don't often pan out as we percieve. Our enemy may ignore the...

Almost... Chaotic? :P I'm not too distrubed to be honest. VC has some nasty stuff of its own, so these new Daemons should be a nice change and challenge.

Hm, that cannon is truly nasty. Tactics for VC based on its stats? Suicide Vargeists? Or do they warrant a full on Terrorgheist screamfest?

So, I have to ask. In your experience formed opinion, should Chaos fear the Vampires, vice versa, or does it seem well balanced? :D
