Remember that those Vargheists and Varghulf can block cannonballs for your General as long as it doesn't slay the model. The list looks really good now.

The way to overcome rhis is with a deep unit of skeletons with screaming banner as support for the bus. Their ranks negate steadfast and the banner helps to reduce the CR bleed they will give off.

the other issue is that i you only use one dice on IoN, you will auto-fail on 1/3 of the attempts. It just isn't giving yourself a chance at all. You can win this way, you just have to win by keeping all your units alive and getting points on the fringes. You have to kill their general, break...

the cursed book is much better if you havr yo choose. it is a guarantee cast, which will put pressure on the enemy to dispell. All the spells are usefull, ad on turns you don't/can't use them, you can just not use it. cursed book for sure.

I think this will add a lot to the list. You really need the redirecting and general versatility for a tourney. How much longer do you have before the tournament?

I'm not sure how committed you are to the Vampir Lord, but have you considered a Ghoul King? It would save you some points on items.

I can tell you that the HE general will probably be a Swordmaster champion, not a Hero.
