The masquerade of murder returns! A new game of Vampires Amongst Us has begun. Unmask the killers, trust no one, and try to survive the night. Find out more and sign up now!
I apologize in advance for some foggy details, this battle was last week when KY got all this snow and I really suck at recalling details.
A few days ago I took on two armies of 3000 each, with a 4500 VC army. Just after deployment things didn't look good for us, with over 100 zombies making up...
That is a very accurate statement. Its a slaughter house when both of those conditions are met. The lance formation being only on the charge didn't really matter to me, on the charge he would kill half of the unit and then the other half would die to crumble. I don't know if its true or not but...
Had to mix my own wash but I don't think its too bad for a first time, I'll finish up the shields, weapons, and other metal later.
Here are a few of just the bottom half after the primer.
Just finished the home made wash and gluing the halves together on the base.
Criticism is greatly...
I tried to make my own for the blue/green on the ghostly part of the mortis engine. I think it turned out pretty well, maybe a little dark in places but its passable. I'll post pics later
I have no idea why they don't have any. The wife of the owner that I talked to said they just don't have any and don't really buy them. It didn't seem like there was a reason.
The local store I get my everything from doesn't sell any washes except for one, they have a bright red wash which I could only see being useful on vargheists. Can anyone give me tips on how to make my own washes out of either ink or regular paint. They have Citadel paints in all the colors I...
My brother shreds me with grail knights and I've only been able to hit them once, when I did he used his wizard to revive the one I Killed. He has a unit of Grail knights 3X5, they charge my core units and eat through entire units of 25 skeletons or 15 dire wolves without slowing down. It seems...
I tried the rubber cement last night, its actually too weak, it doesn't hold to anything. Ended up just using scotch tape to hold them together. Worked pretty well.
I want to make sure everything fits together before I glue permanently, will rubber cement ruin the plastic or come off when I'm ready to glue everything permanently? whats the best way to do this?
That might just be the single smartest thing I've ever seen... is this really a thing? there has to be a downside to it nothing is this perfect. Any ideas what those magnets are called or where I can find them? They look almost like watch batteries.
At the moment I am learning to paint on youtube and other sources, once I feel like I won't ruin the models I'll start painting skeleton warriors and crypt ghouls. Later today I'll start to assemble either a Coven Throne or a Mortis Engine it depends on the results of my other thread.
