@Borgnine now I'm totally confused, I thought @Farmer7574 meant varghesists too but he said morghasts which are totally different in names, but I can see where it could be seen like that on either, as for the chin, its lost but I have a spare unbuilt kit so I'll probably replace the chin with...
Thanks @Farmer7574 as I said I've been away quite awhile so never thought of any real order to what i painted things, I have many half-finished models that I need to continue. I'm glad you like my Morghasts though ^.^ my brother said they were really underwhelming...oh and as for the spider...
That is a lot of effort and it is what I did with one of my banshees
This one:
If that's the effect (the one on the skirt) you're going for then you'll need a good 4 or 5 blues and ceramite white, it also helps to have a small plastic pot for mixing the paints, use your darkest blue as a...
I think I see what you mean with the spiderman and it was just a thought, to be honest I'll probably use this technique on my blood knights when I get the official models, I'll have a play around on my hexwraiths and see if I can get the kind of effect you're after for the main body...
Mmm you could do, cos that does look amazing but its hard to tell how easy it would be to translate that to models, I will be testing out some stuff on hexwraiths myself so I'll let you know if I find one that gets a similar effect to what you're after. Also I updated my post like a min after...
It depends how you want them to appear, typically cos undead are very dark anyway we use black for nightmares, it also looks much more menacing with red glowing eyes. Whereas white is more associated with "the good guys" particularly for steeds, a white horse would be quite unusual for a horror...
Wow! That thing is amazing! >.< How have I not seen this thread before? Really well done XD and beautiful paintjob....I just have one question though o.o how are you ever gonna transport that thing?
I may go back and highlight it sometime then, but will likely be after I've done the rest of my army, the morghasts, I'm glad you like the detail, even though its just blood and eyes :P as for the swarms I originally planned to do that but with Games Workshop dropping support for tomb kings I...
I'd drop the doomwolves from the dire wolf packs since they're mainly redirector units so you're just paying extra points for things that won't do much damage, the tarpits and anvils would work well for the terrorgheists normally but cannons really destroy monsters :\ so you're probably best...
Okay! So its been like...wow 7months or so since I last posted....been away from warhammer a really long time then since most of this I haven't been painting, building or even playing except the last couple of days. But let's start off with a few old models I forgot to include beforehand...
Welcome to the forum XD its always nice to see new people come along so I hope you get along well with everyone. If you have any questions feel free to ask and have a wonderful night ^^
@der vued I've only just seen this topic and was considering entering, but after seeing such an amazing conversion I think I should withdraw now before I even have an idea what to do ^^" really well done o.o
That was actually kind of the point, the group I play with mainly is very competitive but also quite fair. I told my two main opponents about the idea and they told me that I didn't need to limit myself and felt like this would be unfair against me. So after relating the pros and cons, one of...
Okay so can I ask advice on this subject, I've recently been thinking about this as well and I like the idea that the summoning spells are used as alternate deployment, using the concept that you replace the summoned unit sizes with a full unit from your reserves, e.g. if I had a unit of 25...
Welcome to the game and to Carpe Noctem :vampire2: I don't play Kings of War personally but I'm sure there will be those who will happily help you with it, enjoy your day!
The Black Coach is still actually a very good unit as are the black knights when used correctly. To answer your questions though
Malignant units are in nearly every case ethereal and provide significant amounts of durability against regular attacks so Neferata's spell would be much less useful...
No no, Necros both as far from combat as possible, they're both lore of vampires right? if both are in the zombies and you happen to get raise dead on one of them, use the spell to create a second zombie bunker for one of the necros. Also totally blanked but see if you can make room in your...
In the magic items section of the rulebook it states that wizards can't take magic armour unless they can take mundane armour, which vampires can take mundane armour so they can take magic stuff, but necromancers can't. As for the skeletons I am hesitant to say remove them, since they do have a...
