Is it possible for people who have a Finecast miniature to post a few pictures in this thread for those who are unable to visit/don't have a GW near them? I have seen pictures on other forums, but they are of miscast miniatures. I'd like to see if there are models which do live up to GW's hype.

A few people in this thread page 10 and upwards have bought a Finecast mini. Seems to be a mixed bag of decent models with very few flaws, and others with many flaws. Has anyone here bought one yet?

It would be good to see him alongside the rest of your army once he has arrived :) I do hope they are in the next batch of Finecast, as they aren't bad models. Having just the one sculpt would be a rather odd decision, but I doubt GW would be that daft. Darvy, since you received your WD...

If you like GW miniatures, but GW prices are putting you off, then it is worth while looking at websites which offer a discount. These are three common ones: Dark Sphere, Wayland Games, Maelstrom Games. There are other online shops who also offer discounts. As for using other companies...

All of these Finecast models are the same sculpts of the old metal models, barring Prince Apophas, the Necrotect, Liche Priest and Ushabti with Great Bows. No difference in sculpts. 8 skeleton warriors were added so their number went from 32 to 40.

For a crazy moment, I thought you had used actual earth from a graveyard. So which model(s) will you be moving on to once you have finished the Fire Warriors?

The model would make a terrible vampire, but as a necromancer in a Lahmian themed army it would be at home :tongue:

It's a simple but effective colour scheme. I like it. Are the Banshees part of the army? You may have fended them off for now, but I'm sure it will be a nice multi-coloured signature in the next week or so again.

Personally I think that the Liche Priest would make a suitable necromancer. It would fit perfectly in a Lahmian Vampire Count army. Finecast Review.

GW Colchester posted a picture of a Finecast Dark Eldar model: Same sculpts. Looks they we will have to wait and see what they can do with this new material.

RE: Citadel Fine Cast Range rummors Didn't they increase the the price on the 10 figure boxes? Such as the VC Skeletons and Crypt Ghouls from £12 to £15.50? Or was that early this year?

RE: Citadel Fine Cast Range rummors It does seem likely that the boxes will consist of three models. Even with all the crazy things GW do, I doubt they would be try and sell a single Jezzail for £30. Now we only have to wait five days before we find out more.
