Mine are assembled and doing fine. Not fragile at all. In fact, the wings kinda have a shock absorbing system to them the way they are designed.

Skirmishers in 8th have a formation though. 40k units are loose, only needing to be with 2" of another model. There would be no way to make movement trays for that.
