That Wraithlord conversion is excellent indeed! I am right with you about reusing as many old miniatures as you can, and that's a prime example! I am very fond of the missile launcher arm - very much a "means business" weapon :) I look forward to seeing the painted versions!

I need to watch the series, I managed to watch the film and enjoyed it immensely - I didn't realise there was a series at the time xD I am torn personally. It would be great for it to come back, but I would say I think it would be better if it didn't make it back. Simply put, I think it is best...

This might have already been mentioned, but if you get the chance to read the old undead army book referenced above, there are actually two parts to the Mannfred story - the first has Gotrek and Felix against him, but at the end of the army book there is a short separate part where he has...

I am looking forward to seeing the finished corpse cart - I love the idea of the altar of dark magic, it fits nicely with the ideas from Storm of Magic too. After all if there is any army out there that is likely to have lots of magic sources with them, its the Vamps xD Mind if I borrow the idea...

Good stuff there - good luck with the unit filers too :) Would something like a cairn entrance open in the ground with ghouls spilling out of it work too? They stay below ground in the cairns for warmth, but come barrelling out like angry ants if you disturb them? I don't think you need to worry...

Just a quick thought or two, sorry if I am repeating things as I haven't had chance to read the whole thread. Does anyone remember the Rouge Trader entry for vampires as shape shifting psychics? Is there any reason why a chapter couldn't be compromised by one or more of these things if they take...

Banned because your missing the point - anywhere Carpe Noctem's members go IS the party house!

I am both very impressed, and quietly horrified, in equal measure... what a terrifying vampire lord! Actually, just thinking laterally you don't need to make any special rules for him exactly... you could use a Vampire Lord with Ethereal power (represents the sparkles, as only magic can hit...

Thanks for all the comments guys, I have not had much time to play around with this guy or with the marauder unit I am building to go with him - work is busy right now, and I am spending my spare time on a course that work needs me to complete... what fun Seriously, a huge thank you to...

Banned for failing to appreciate that there is a health risk to sword swallowing - which is what I assume everyone is in fact talking about . Carnival acts are dangerous!

Thanks for the kind comments so far guys, I really needed your thoughts on this one. I agree he needs a bit more chaos. I am torn now. My worry is it would be easy to ruin him by sticking bits to him without a clear plan, but he needs a dose of warp energy to really shine. I am toying with...

Banned because after mentioning a python and a hampster, there must be elderberries! And bad french accents strangely enough...

Hi everyone, In an effort to stop just thinking about warhammer and actually build some models I decided to just let myself go a bit crazy. I have decided to try and get some enthusiasm back for the hobby by starting a small warriors of chaos army with a slaanesh feel. I decided to try and...

These are awesome models, and your paint job certainly does them justice! I particularly like the rusty red chainmail on the barding for several of them.

RE: Banned! - a very silly thread Banned because although Darvy did not use the embarrassed emoticon, there was nothing wrong with the one he did use. Clearly he found it worth a smirk

RE: Banned! - a very silly thread Banned for having good manners  You put me to shame!

I like the idea behind this thread! Hmm, add say 200 years. Lets see The Empire, Kislev, and to some degree Bretonnia are in constant war with Chaos right now... I could see the Empire becoming very militaristic and domineering, not evil or corrupt, just always on a war footing even more so...

This looks very promising. I know what you mean about the new Dark Eldar beasts, when i saw the new Khymera (I think that is how it is spelt) I thought they would do very nicely for Dire Wolves :) I look forward to seeing what you do next. Are you planning for this fella to have wings at all?

RE: the Krinas Dark Army of Voorthoolakas Just wanted to say that you've got some really inspiring stuff here. I can't get over the eight armed skeletons and the "80's bikers" black knights on the first page. Top notch imagination there! Good luck with the winged Vampire

RE: Banned! - a silly thread of silliness Banned to prevent further perversion :innocent: It is obviously the Slaaneshi influence leaking from your corrupted sig that twisted those smilies so!
