Just saw it today. Is it the best movie out there, no. Did i have a fun time and cannot wait to paint up a bat swarm, yes. I also could have done without the end, but it did not waste the movie for me. Will be a most have once released for home viewing while painting in the future. Thumbs up!

Thank you both, reaper and bullhax, for the ideas. I think what i might do is try and tone it down with a earth shade wash. Take out the majority of yellow and leave a sickly yellow moon. Add a purple back ground and silhouette something over the moon. I will try and stay away from the castle...

I am going with a yellow and purple theme. Problem is i cannot get a method i am happy with for the yellow. So far i just add a brown wash. I am wanting a dirty muted look, that does not suggest happy full of life. Any thoughts ideas. Here is a picture of one of the units.

I think that tonight any painting wiil be testing how to dull down and dirty up my yellow. I would like to finish up the units this weekend minus the cart. I told my self no more models till they are done.
