The masquerade of murder returns! A new game of Vampires Amongst Us has begun. Unmask the killers, trust no one, and try to survive the night. Find out more and sign up now!
@Borgnine ; The bones are indeed different on the two unit! While I used the flash for the knights pictures and didn't for the catapult (big difference with white colors), I used different technique and recipe for both!
For the knights it was more of a rush job, drybrush, and using more white...
Thanks @Farmer7574 ! Reins would have been cool, but I already tried that on other model and it's a lot of work! I kept them really simple (paint job included) since these are "free" models after building the Hexwraith from the box. I don't think I've used knights in my army all throughout 8th...
Hey guys, long time without an update here! Must say that in the past few months I did very little overall with any of my armies. But thanks to the little challenges we have here, I was able to get going with painting a bit more. This time I even managed to get a real unit done!
So with the...
@Farmer7574 Thanks! I choose that in part because I could use that as a motivation to do some Black Knights myself :P I just hope to get some time on the paint station to do them!
@Farmer7574 Thanks!
Well it's a bit of a given that I'll vote for Borgnine with only him and me entering this one, but he still produced another quality mini here so he still have a solid option for finish first! Love the muted colours used and the overall weathering on the model, great work!
Thanks @Farmer7574!
Finished the model earlier this week, so here's some pics;

@Borgnine : Very nice model, that will be a tough one to beat!
I myself made some progress, nearly done with the sculpting! Some greenstuff is still curing, but took some pics anyway. The head is just blue-tacked in place, and the sword is just pinned in place but not glued yet, but it's close...
Well GW Morghast wings will be expensive if you buy a box or two just for the wings!
One alternative that might work is to use this Reaper model. I believe they use the same wings as the models I used for the Morghast that you linked above, but they are in Bones material instead of metal, which...
Yeah, all sculpted in greenstuff (so far) :) I'll most likely use a plastic zombie head of some kind, but the rest should be entirely hand-sculpted!
It would have been easier to just buy a mini for sure, but that would mean throwing money at some Sigmarine :P Plus, what really draw me in was...
I don't know if I'll be able to make it to the deadline, but I did start to sculpt my own model for this! I try to work on it as often as I can, but it still take a while to do!
Here's what I've done do far;

The only Sigmarine I have is the one from HeroQuest, and I want to keep him "alive" :P
My only other option would be to scratchbuild/sculpt one myself... And I'm kinda tempted to try :P
@Borgnine take the cake one this one :) Brillant work on the model, he must really stand out on the battlefield!
And I gave my second vote to @Leithel , always loved that model and I love the color used on it, very nice!
Finished my model very early on, but was lazy about taking pictures (and having other stuff on my work place), but today I managed to take some pictures!
Here's my Lahmian Vampire Lady;
The arms on the infantry are way too long in the pictures, they nearly reach the ground! Since they are separate pieces it should be feasible to rework them some to have better proportion. The bodies also looks to be quite wide, nearly fat, when seen from the front.
The chain mails work on the...
