Skellys started small, then larger, then back to smaller so they fit in just fine as it’s still the same basic ranks. Many of the vamps can still work also. The night haunts are the new faction to fit in the old world as we didn’t have a huge spirit list.

That's not bad really with just a head swap. One of the things I'm not a fan of with the new crew is the whole necron look. Normal skulls break that up. Cool find!

While I may have read it wrong, does anybody remember seeing that the box set characters will be available as separates later on? Kinda a pain GW sells it this way sometimes, but with that said the pricing on sets has gotten better, just not on single items. Coach is a tad out of price I'm afraid.

Yeah, their shipment came in wendsday, so They were calling the special orders for pick up. Had a big pile of pre-order stuff, but. Mostly all 40k knights. There's some money at 140+ each.

ok, picked up banshees and stalkers today. the sculps are really clean. kinda digging the rose motif carried through the range so far, also on line I saw that Manfred and arkhan are listed as GW only? did I miss this? I see neferata isn't. thoughts....

Not as crazy abou the lock carriers, but if they are in the 15-20 range I'll probably add them later.( course i said that about the banshees and they're already on order lol.).

Wallets going to take a hit with this new release lol. There is a different pic. Of the mortarch floating around from GW that has the roses done in red with her robes being a tad bit greyer. Makes her look brighter and more defined than this pic. Question now is the third a known or new...

I agree with you unas, the guardian figure is a must! This whole release so far shows lots of promise whether you play lots or just collect. I'm going to be broke again is what I believe.

This is all true. The game has changed over the years. The warband ideas works great, but is made for small battles whether it is AOS or necromunda. Tourney games and any large games kinda have to have them to balance the game. Not to mention, players today have a hard time IMO with AOS' rules...

Looking again, I wouldn't mind those horses for some hex wraith conversions. Never fond of the others for them.

Not to mention moving the thing from shelf to table top without breaking something off! A new lighter one would be nice. Looks like a choice of riders also, with or without the whip. Really likening the new horses for this.

AOS is designed around the old Warhammer fantasy battles of the 80's, the golden years of GW's rise to power. Allows for small skirmishes type battles and in the old book, allowed for players to build a warband of different "followers". Big battles was to be fought wit the armies book of rules...

They look great. Nice thing is there is plenty there for some conversion work for cairn wraiths and such to. the mounted character looks nice also
