Well, it Is black monday here, so I may be a tad wasted, but to me, it could use a bit more blending like you did on the avatar!
And you can take off those img tags at the end ;)
Looking well so far! One thing I would say is the snow seems to be very static base to base, it's practically in the same spots... You should put some over lapping their feet
Insult the guard?! I have a whole army of the buggers! :P They dish out the pain better than the CSM any day :P
Hahahaha Another Matt Ward product?! You can't fix a broken codex with another even worse one! Oh GW, you silly company. It feels like you're just gone 20 and you're still waiting to...
@RoguePanda - some great ideas there! I've done the tesla coils, they look pretty damn good.
One thing you'll wanna add is a spring on that spear leg. And if you use two together, they make a great mechanical shin replacement!
I had 1 DH termi at one stage. Beaut of a model, but he was corrupted by chaos and is now a terminator lord/stand in abbadon :P
I really liked the fluff of the old book, so this one should be good, but it won't be half as cool without "taking command" of an entire guard platoon, using them to...
Very nice indeed! It's always good to see other people's warsmiths. Mine is Still a WIP after 4 years, I keep adding to him :P
I have a normal and a termi one, how about you?

There's a great site...
Hehe make that 3 :P Been a 'Warriors player since the start of the last edition! Back then, we were unstoppable :P
I made a few bionics back in the day, one of my favourite tricks to do was replace half a marines leg with a necron's one, then blend it in with warped flesh. Looks damn good and...
I'm hopping on the bandwagon. As we say in pirate speak: Yaaarrr!
That means: Nice work so far :)
Is that meant to be a patch of snow on the base? Tbh, it doesn't feel very natural for a base unless he's marching through a thaw :P Maybe a tad more? Foot prints always go down well!
Went to spray a load of models black - looks like I'm completely out of spray and have to do it by hand -.-
I finished undercoating an Ogryn, started testing a dark elf chilling blue colour scheme for a friend, but I've gotten tired of that now so I'm watching Breaking Bad :)
Well, it's been a while, but here's me again. In a total pose :P
I needed something to prove to a few people i had finally shaved off my "epic" soul patch, it did the job.
Finally relocated my Mac out of that room too!
Also - New Years:
The swords are Very nice, I'm dying to try it myself :P
One thing I would suggest is adding a bit of shading to the rib cages, shins and for arm, maybe a wash of black paint. Just to heighten the gap between the bones.
for 30 mins that's solid bonework :) Ever think of mixing in some foundation paints for your basecoat? You can get some excellent results in very little time that way. Don't worry about covering over the details too heavily, a wash of badab black over bone looks great, so long as you water it...
I know that was definitely in the last army book, but I'm about 75% sure that's gone now. Warplightning tokens inflict wounds when you roll 1s still though. I have the codex around here somewhere, but I just can't find it...
Ooooh, I like that idea a lot! Eldar fluff represented by painting, awesome :)
If you use foundation yellow under your gold, it makes it absolutely pop off the model! I'd definitely recommend that as an Iron Warrior painter (boltgun metal and burnished gold are my thing :P)
Last little thing I'd...
