The general idea of the army is to be quite versatile as its going to be going to a tournament. The Vampire is going to roll down a flank with the wolves, Varghulf and the bats while the Skeletons and Zombies hold everything together in the centre. The Wight King and the Black Knights hold down the other flank.

To expand to 2250 (which may be the tournament points size) I am going to add another 5 Wolves with Doom Wolf and the Black Coach.

Any ideas/suggestions?

using the Corpse Cart as a linchpin.

Oops, I don't think I saw the Corpse Cart in the list!

Anyways, I don't have any suggestions, I think that you're list should work out very well. I definitely foresee a great bloodshed in the center of the table with hordes to the front and nasties to the sides. =)

Maybe remove the sword of kings from the King and give him a lance instead, also give his unit the hatred banner.

I definitely think you should get Banner of the Barrows or Banner of the Strigoi on your unit of BKs. Also, I don't think I would get a zombie unit larger than 20, possibly 25, and I would think 25 skeletons would be good enough.

Removing the Sword of Kings and giving him a Lance wouldn't lower his AS at all.

The necromancer I'm not sure about. With only a single spell to cast with the Scepter, you need 2 dice to cast it reliably, and that means you can cast it at most once a turn. Debatable the mileage you'd get out of it. It's only for Raise Dead, doesn't work with IoN, so it only works with raising new units, which give 50 VPs away.

In any case, let us know how you do!

Why say the Lance though? I'd prefer to keep his armour save up!

Uuh in what way would the lance destroy your armorsave? I mean you still have shield and you still wont get the hwep/shield bonus. ?

Shaving those main units down a bit you could make your wight a BSB. Intresting list, not as many PD as most lists have, but the size of your units means that you are not so dependent on IoN as many lists are.

Well I feel Kings are really strong in the defensive part, but lacking in the offensive. The King with the Skeletal steed barding and lance is "cheap" and has high attack power, not to mention is very effective in a unit of BK's combined with the banner of strigos.

The gem of blood is very good since failing the roll doesn't awlays kill the King.
