Looks like a pretty good list, I've never played against Nurgle but have read they're pretty nasty and resilient. Maybe more zombies as they're a source of mortal wounds for us.
Never played Vyrkos either, is there an ability that allows them to cast more spells than normal?

El Syf, Vyrkos allow you to reroll failed spellcast

Also Maggotkin is a very slow army, only the flies there have a decent movespeed (8, while all the reste has 4, except the 5 of the nurglings). So use it to your advantage.

For starter, I would split the Blood Knight. By 10 they will be too clunky to maneuver and gain nothing to be by 10 except making it more difficult to be in unit coherency.

I would change your general trait, Skilled leader give you a CP on a 5+. Pack Alpha let you use one Command ability by turn without paying it, so in essence a free CP ;)

Since you play Vrykos, I would swap the vampire for Belladamma, Make the necromancer the general and give him the arcane tome. Deathlore is really nice and you'll want to (try to) cast vanhell dance macabre nearly every turn.

Ultimately, i would replace one of the Deathrattle Skellies by our faithful wolves and merge the others skellies. (you'll have to remove one unit btw)

So something like this :

Army Type: Vrykos Dynasty
Grand Strategy : Hold the line (Prized Sorcery is nice to)
Triumph : Indomitable

Leader Laukai Vai (285)
Necromancer (125)*
General
Command Trait : Pack Alpha
Arcane Tome
Fading Vigor
Radukar the Beast (315)*
Belladamma Volga (200)*

BATTLELINE
Deathrattle Skeletons (315)*
Dire wolves (135)*
Deathwalker Zombies (230)**

OTHER
Blood Knights (195)**
Blood Knights (195)**

*Battle Regiment
**Hunter of the Heartlands

1935/2000
5 Drops (your friend has 6 so you get to chose who start) or 4 if you put the zombies in the graves
up to 65 point for an endless spell (Emerald Lifeswarm/ Chronomantic Cogs / Burning Head)

An othe variation more likely like your initial list would be :

Army Type: Vrykos Dynasty
Grand Strategy : Hold the line (Prized Sorcery is nice to)
Triumph : Indomitable

Leader Laukai Vai (285)
Necromancer (125)*
General
Command Trait : Pack Alpha
Arcane Tome
Fading Vigor
Radukar the Beast (315)*
Vampire Lord (140)*

BATTLELINE
Deathrattle Skeletons (85)*
Deathrattle Skeletons (85)*
Deathwalker Zombies (230)*

OTHER
Blood Knights (195)**
Blood Knights (195)**
Grave Guards with Great Wight Blade (280)**

*Battle Regiment
**Hunter of the Heartlands
1935/2000
5 Drops (your friend has 6 so you get to chose who start) or 4 if you put the Guards in the graves
up to 65 point for an endless spell (Emerald Lifeswarm/ Chronomantic Cogs / Burning Head)

EDIT : Also, BTW your starting list is totally playable juste change the battle trait, split the Knight and add 1 dire wolves unit and you're set :)
EDIT 2 : Also if not already done, I heavily advise you to go read the Sun King handboook : Handbook: Soublight Gravelords - Carpe Noctem It's really well done and a solid reference :)

Hi there! I play both Maggotkin and Soulblight, so I might be able to give you some insight.

The units you need to be affraid of is his Blightkings, Blightlords and Great Unclean One. You will have a hard time bringing any of those units down and they have massive damage output. Therefor focus on them one by one and try to avoid engaging your opponent so that their lack of good mobility becomes an issue for them.

Against most other armies having access to mortal wounds is really important, but against Maggotkin it is not that important because they have a 5+ ward against everything and generally not very good saves.

For this reason I would build the list you have around using high mobility with units like Lauka Vai and the Bloodknights and then spending your battleline on units that can screen, redirect and snatch objectives. Fell bats would be a good addition.

Hope this helps :)

Cheers,
Sunny
