Vampire Lord - lvl 3, Master of the Dark Arts, Forbidden Lore, Summon Ghouls, Helm of Commandment, Walach's Bloody hauberk, Sword of Might, Talisman of Lycni
Vampire - lvl 1 (2), Avatar of Death (GW), Dark Acolyte, Flayed Hauberk, Dispel Scroll
Vampire - lvl 1, BSB, Dread Knight, Drakenhoff Banner
Wight King - HA, Sh, GW, Crown of the Damned
25 Skeletons - LA, Sh, FC
24 Skeletons - LA, Sh, FC, Banner of the Dead Legion
15 Ghouls - Ghast
20 Zombies - Standard
6 Dire Wolves
24 Grave Guard - HA, Sh, FC, Banner of the Barrows
6 Knights of the Blood Keep - Standard, Banner of Hellfire
The Wight King goes with the Grave Guard to supply a few wounds. The combo of the Helm and BotB will yield a 2+ to hit some of the time. The WKs main duty is to go after enemy characters. His high T and 4+ ward save should keep him safe. Also, if he goes stupid (Ld 9) I can still Danse his unit around.
The BSB goes with the KotBK if I need to keep them safe. Otherwise he will pal-around with my general in one of the skelly blocks or the ghoul unit.
The wizardy vampire is to be a jack of all trades. He is my secondary caster and can provide a sustained S 7 in case I encounter any stanks.
The general is primarily a caster and can function as a combat fighter if the opportunity arises ... having the Drakenhoff Banner in the army certainly opens some opportunities for him.
Due to comp restrictions I'm limited in the number of small units I can put in the army. The skellies are large so that I don't feel the need to summon into them to start with. The army is intended to function in a point denial capacity. Each block of troops can have a support combat character. The zombies can pin annoying units in place and the wolves will screen the knights.
Comments, suggestions, etc are welcome.
