Give them a bolt thrower which chucks huge bones. As skeletons suck at Bs the crew should be a wight and a skeleton. If you kill the wight the Bs would drop from 3 to 2 for the remaining crewman.

How about a pestilence chucker a kind of catapult that flings piles of rotting flesh, crewed by zombies, causes low S hits with no AS because of diesease with a big 5" template.

Well those are my ideas....

Perhaps a contraption that launches undead corpses at its targets causing 2D6 S X hits in a radius and unit has to take a moral check?

Now that idea I do like Fluffy! Lets see, same rules as stone thrower at S4, every model killed is raised back as a zombie and placed in BSB contact with its original unit, neither side counts as charging.

(Im back!!!) Continuing with this idea, a moving contraption that has a catapult on the back ( like scraplauncher). Fires body parts like disciple suggested, but it acts like a chariot and if it breaks and catches an enemy unit, it gains +1 str to its payload (to represent the gained body parts). Perhaps at the front of the model a meat grinder like device?

[insert suitable name]

The .. is a gigantic structure of undead flesh. It is built from the decaying bodies of many Zombies.

M- WS- BS- S- T5 W8 I- A- Ld-
M4 WS2 BS2 S3 T3 W1 I2 A1 Ld3

Unit size: One ... and 4 Skeleton crewmembers
Equipment: The crew is equipped with hand weapons.

Special Rules:
Crew: Undead
...: Stone Thrower, Corpse Thrower, cause terror

Corpse Thrower:
If a corpse lands on a unit, that unit must take a panic test. In addition, all casualties caused by the flying corpse (including the corpse itself) will fight again! Place a number of Zombies to the front of the unit hit equal to the casualties the corpse caused +1. These units are now in combat and the combat counts as an on-going combat.

****

I may have forgotten some rules, but that's the idea. Not sure on points cost. 90-115pts seem okay.

I really like the idea Admiral, nicely finishes off the discussion me and Fluffy was having. I would suggest that and a bone thrower as mentioned at the start.

Lower strength (5, 4 maybe?) but because of the diseased bone shattering upon impact each hit causes double wounds?

So long as its not S2 :P, flying zombies have to be somewhat more dangerous then the common foot sloggers. And I don't see why they need 4 skellys as crew

And are you able to raise up the crew again? As if they were all killed but thte machine remained. Just like TKs

Startignthis thread up again, asNagash's Legion definitely needs artillary. I like the ideas of the 'corpse thrower' and the 'bone bolt thrower'. Here is what I came up with.

Zombie Launcher………………………….150 pts.
Launcher M 4/WS -/BS 2/S -/T 7/W 3/I -/A -/Ld 2
Nagashi M 4/WS 3/BS 3/S 3/T 3/W 1/I 4/A 1/Ld 8

Unit Size: 1
Crew: 3 Nagashi
Weapons and Armor: The Nagashi crew have two hand weapons and heavy armor.

Special Rules:

Animated Device-The war machine does not suffer the effects of crew loss, as long as there is at leats one
crew member remaining the Zombie Launcher may move and fire normally. If all the crew are slain then the war machine may move or fire, but not both, during a turn.

Mould Corpses-If there is a zombie unit and a spellcaster within 6” inches, one zombie may be molded onto the war machine. Each zombie sacrificed this way restores one wound to the Zombie Launcher up to its full complement of wounds.

Undead Ammunition- The Zombie Launcher may only fire if there is a zombie unit within 6” of the war machine. A minimum of one zombie must be sacrificed from the unit and loaded into the Zombie Launcher, although a maximum of four zombies can be loaded. Each zombie confers +1 strength to the shot, the first zombie confers strength 1, the second zombie strength 2, etc, up to a maximum of strength 4. Any casualties inflicted by the Zombie Launcher by shooting at an enemy unit, are raised as new zombie models, and placed to the front of the respective unit which suffered the casualties counting as engaged in combat. The zombies count as having charged for the purposes of deciding who strikes first in combat.

I believe this should be a rare choice, but I'm equally disposed to it being a special choice.
--------------------------------------------------
Bone Thrower…………………………100 pts.
Thrower M -/WS -/BS -/S -/T 7/W 3/I -/A -/Ld -
Nagashi M 4/WS 3/BS 3/S 3/T 3/W 1/I 4/A 1/Ld

Unit Size: 1
Crew: 3 Nagashi
Weapons and Armor: The Nagashi crew have two hand weapons and heavy armor
Range: 48”
Strength: 5
Damage: D3

Special Rules:
Cursed Ammunition: The bones fired by the Bone Thrower are engraved with runes of cursing. As such the bone thrower re-rolls rolls to wound.

I think this selection should be a special choice.

Toiling away,
-The Dark Lord
