As the title reads: what units do you think a worthwhile Allies for the Soulblight Gravelords?

I have started work on a chapter about Allies for my SBG handbook, but I need some help. I don't usually play Flesheater Courts and I never play Ossiarch Bonereapers, so I have some blind spots there.

The units that I already consider for the chapter are: Cairn Wraith, Black Coach, Glaive Wraith Stalkers and Spirit Hosts. I should probably also include the Megagargant.

Cheers,
Sunny

Being an ally really hampers a unit's performance because there's no allegiance abilities. I generally never use them. But, I agree that something with a ranged attacked from Nighthaunt is a good choice because at least their unrendable save is unit specific and not related to their allegiance. That said, they're getting a new book soon so who knows what will be the case in a few months when that comes out.

Yes, as Oppenheimer said, Soublight can rely on nighthaunts because some of their useful abilities are not related to external buffs.
Imo a great ally would be Banshees. And i mean a group of them, as their scream stacks perfectly with our bravery debuffs.

Ossiarch Bonereapers offer a powerful ranged attack with their catapult, so i'd certainly consider a mortek crawler

Yeah, even storywise it make no sense to be able to ally with FEC but not with Ossiarch.

I suppose it's more tied with the unique command mechanic of Ossiarch.
