Dark Souls

Hey Everyone,

I bought this game for the Xbox 360 back last year when it came out, but I only started playing it maybe 2 weeks ago. Frankly, I'm just loving it. It's just what I'm looking for in a game; it's difficult, it's fantasy based, it's skill based, and even though there's not endless roaming plains like Oblivion or Skyrim, I honestly feel like things are a challenge. None of those other games were hard at all for me, but this is a whole different beast.

I tried to convince Master Spark to pick it up as well, but he only picked it up when he saw hsi real life friend play it, and now he's killer at it.

So. Anyone else out there playing this on the XBox? Anyone looking to do some coop? Add me!

I kill people. It's the only fun I can have now.

You should all be getting and playing this game. It's quite good and will keep you hooked for many hours on end.

Dark Souls is great, and if you have a PS3 there is also Demons Souls which is the original(Dark Souls is the sequel). Both are worth playing but are very hard, not for those who are easily frustrated :swear:

Played a demo and no way will I ever buy this, way too frustrating. I don't mind hard games but this is just plain crazy. Ninja Gaiden 1 and 2 were frustrating enough for me.

Not that this is a bad game, it's beautiful, but if you have arthritis and you are on painkillers all day long just to get through these aren't the sort of games to unwind.
That's why I'm an Elder Scrolls fan through and through; difficulty slider (ie. when things are really bad slide left and on good days all the way to the right).

Wish I could play games like these! Used to love the challenge.

I adore dark souls. I love the challenge of it, unfortunately I don't have XBox live and so have to do it on my own. It can get really frustrating though if you have a wireless controller that disconnects randomly:slapface: I had to get a new one just for this game

It still has batteries but disconnects randomly? If you have a charge plug, try taking otu the batteries completely and keeping it plugged in.

I think it's just that the...'plastic thing that holds the batteries in place' is loose.

Oh well, I've a new one now, with a wire. Specifically for Dark Souls
