Empire to Vampire Input Wanted

Hello all,

I have recently obtained the Empire General kit to do some vampire building yet I am stuck on deciding what 'head' would look the best on the foot model. I like the idea of hollowing out the panther helm and sticking a skull in there, yet I need a vampire not a wight king.

Paintjob the way to go using one of the heads that come with the kit? Ghoul head? Something else?

What head would you use? Pics welcome. My green stuff skill is one tiny sliver above nonexistant.

I have thought about the ghoul head a bit, but on this big torso it looks a bit out of proportion.

ghouls head is pretty passable as a vamp, and for character painting id go for the lacquered armour technique, like with konrads armour, depending on your colour scheme: ive fallen in love with it somewhat, and have repainted some greatswords as Gg with it

i think you could use the baby griffon as a dark familiar would be my first bit of advise.

Ghoul heads are the best substitute for vamp heads. Just make the ears a bit pointier and it'll look awsome.

You could just use the head of the winged vampire, since it's a seperate piece. Of course, you'd have to buy the entire model for that...
