Just been to a recreationist weekend at kelmarsh hall in northampton. It involved loads of time periods, however no recreation of the vampire wars! Some great armour and costumes. Some ideas for empire and brettonian livery. Here are some pictures (lots of ropes in the way as i was sat down as i am lazy):

Those are some very nice pictures Goggalor, thank you for sharing them with us. I've never taken myself the time to visit any recreation of the medieval times even though I'm quite interested in them. The marching Romans have a nice uniform feeling to them as well, heheh. Thanks again!

This festival is on every july and contains all the historical periods in britains history including some germans, imperial and third reich, boers, russians and free french. It is well worth a visit. I have been dragged along for 4 years. And enjoy it every year.
